Your Delivery Team

Kirk (President), MBA and M.A. holds a Bachelor of Science in Management/Psychology from the University of Maryland, a Masters in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins, and an MBA and Masters in Finance and Accounting from Keller Graduate School. While dedicating many years to his education, Kirk also found time to serve and educate others, as a behavior science specialist in the U.S. Army during the first Gulf War and as an English teacher in Venezuela. In addition to his work abroad, Kirk spent years in the education sector, guiding the financial development of a company dedicated to providing leadership and life-success skills to youth.

Brandon (Chief Academic Officer) earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan. He has demonstrated a deep passion for education throughout his career, working as a certified elementary and secondary school educator, as well as a curriculum developer for elementary, middle school, high school and university programs. As an elementary school teacher with the Teach for America program, Brandon inspired his students by challenging them to strive for success. He has been commended by his peers for his commitment and tireless work ethic, receiving an Outstanding Teaching Award for his efforts. His commitment to developing educators led him to Know Limit Learning Services, where he recruits and guides high-quality tutors that can yield significant impact with all learners.

Roman (Tutor Manager), M.A. earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington. He developed his passion for teaching as a classroom educator, focusing on secondary science subjects such as biology, AP biology, chemistry, physics, and physical science. In addition to classroom teaching experience, Roman changed lives as a professional tutor. He tutored high school students in math and science, as well as coached students for the SAT and AP tests. Furthermore, Roman is a certified TOEFL instructor and taught classes to international students to help them succeed. His combined experience as a classroom instructor and professional tutor gives him tremendous expertise to ensure that Know Limit’s tutors are the best in the world. Roman is committed to ensuring that your student reaches his or her goals.

Nayarit (Chief Community Officer) earned a Bachelor of Science in General Education from the Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, Venezuela. As a bilingual communicator, Nayarit is actively involved in the education of students in Northern Virginia. During her tenure as co-president of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Bristow Run Elementary School, she spearheaded several fundraising projects, successfully procuring funds for classroom technology and supply purchases. In addition to her leadership role with the PTA, she has engaged in multiple community projects the past fourteen years, gaining significant experience in elementary and middle school classrooms.

Tommy (Vice President Academic and Leadership Programs) holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Coastal Carolina University. He has established himself as a leader in conference management, corporate training, financial analysis and entrepreneurship. Tommy’s career reflects his competitiveness, dynamism and energy, all of which fuel his passion for empowering and motivating talented young people and working professionals. At Know Limit Learning, Tommy is committed to creating unique, meaningful academic experiences that have a lasting impact.

Stacy (Client Manager) holds a dual Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin. Stacy began her career in customer service right out of college, and has an extensive background in client management. Stacy served as lead manager for the customer service and admissions department of an international education company, working closely with parents of high-achieving students to ensure a rewarding leadership and educational experience for their children. Stacy is passionate about our families and students, and strives to ensure that their experience with Know Limit Learning Services is above and beyond.

Bret (Tutor Recruiting Expert), MBA earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in Criminal Justice. Since 1997, Bret has cultivated his exceptional ability to recruit talented individuals for organizations. He has instructed thousands of recruiting professionals in multiple sectors, serving as an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management in northern Virginia and a moderator for the Staffing Alliance of Maryland Employers. His insights and expertise provide the Know Limit Learning Services team with a unique ability to recruit the highest-quality tutors across a wide range of subjects and age levels.

Rachael (Tutor Training and Development Expert) received her B.A. in Political Science and French from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Rachael is a skilled leader with tremendous passion for learning and development. She served as a corporate trainer for an international education company, focusing on preparing thousands of education professionals annually to implement leadership and career programs for students across the globe. Her efforts shape the ability of Know Limit Learning Services Tutors to successfully benefit the students and families we serve.

Carmen (Communication Expert), M.A. earned her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Communication Studies at the University of Texas and M.A. in Communication in Contemporary Society at Johns Hopkins University. Through clear communication, Carmen excels at fostering cohesion across organizations, ensuring all parties are fully informed, reducing barriers to success, and focusing on the organization’s mission. She was a Hermes Creative Award Gold Winner for excellence in employee communications in addition to her team being recognized as finalists in the Human Resources Leadership Awards for employee engagement. Carmen’s talents help the Know Limit Learning Services team share its message with families and schools in the community as well as the Education Consultants and Tutors who serve them.

Iliana (Customer Service Expert) holds a dual B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Colorado. With a personal goal to positively influence youth, Iliana worked previously as a tutor and as a Junior Achievement representative, eventually developing an expertise in customer care. She has held various managerial positions for non-profit educational organizations, providing leadership programs to the world’s highest achieving students while guiding teams to deliver an exceptional customer service experience. Iliana’s vision shapes the Know Limit Learning Services approach to ensuring all of our families receive professional, high-quality services.
